The original Novatec inner insert is designed for Shimano / Campagnolo type freehub bodies with a mechanism of 4 or 6 pawls, compatible with B-type and D-type freehub body shells. This precisely machined part transfers force between the freehub body shell and the inner mechanism of the hub, ensures the correct function of the pawls and smooth operation of the freewheel.
