Speed Potion Wax is a top-class wax coating for the chain, developed for maximum speed, minimal friction and uncompromising performance.

Speed Potion Prime Wax is a top-class chain wax that significantly reduces friction and increases power transfer efficiency. Thanks to a unique wax blend with more than 17 % friction-reducing additives, it saves 2–11 watts while creating a clean, dry and extremely durable surface. The wax penetrates deep into the links, is completely dry once cured and protects the chain from wear and dirt. Awarded the Bike Motion Award 2021 in the Improve Performance category.

Application procedure

• Thoroughly degrease the chain – use a product such as Striptease or Bio Drivetrain Detox. On new chains the factory grease must be removed.
• Rinse and let the chain dry completely.
• Shake the bottle well before use. Due to oxygen, the wax may partially harden in the nozzle – shaking restores the correct consistency.
• Apply the wax at least 2 hours before riding, ideally 24 hours in advance.
• Once fully cured, it forms a hard, extremely durable and dry film with maximum effectiveness.

Maintenance

• Lubrication intervals are longer than with ordinary oils thanks to the high durability and solid wax film.
• If you ride in extremely wet conditions, the manufacturer recommends switching to an oil lubricant designed for rain.
• For long-term high-performance running, occasional cleaning of the chain and re-application of the wax is enough.
