The Mavic Ksyrium SL Disc (F00017701) front wheel is designed for road cyclists who demand a light construction, tubeless use and high reliability.

The Mavic Aksium 1 Disc Center Lock front built road wheel is a reliable basis for everyday training and rides in changing conditions. The modernised version comes with a wider rim that works better with current wider road and all-road tyres, bringing higher ride comfort, better stability and more confident handling.

The S6000 Aluminum alloy aluminium rim with an internal width of 21 mm is adapted for use with a classic inner tube as well as in the UST Tubeless Ready tubeless system (when using Mavic tubeless tape). Tubeless use allows running lower pressures for better grip and significantly reduces the risk of punctures.

The lacing relies on 24 classic steel spokes with a bent head (J-bend) with a double cross, which guarantees high durability and very easy servicing in case of a damaged spoke. The aluminium hub is fitted with quality industrial QRM Auto bearings with automatic play adjustment, which ensure smooth running without the need for frequent adjustment.

The wheel is designed for disc brakes with the Center Lock mounting system and a 12×100 mm thru axle. Using optional adapters, the axle can also be easily converted to a standard quick release (9×100 mm).
