The Mavic E-Deemax S 30 27.5 (P00076405) built wheelset is designed for electric mountain bikes (e-MTB) with 27.5 wheels.
The Mavic E-DEEMAX S 27.5 built wheels are an exceptionally durable set developed directly for the specific loads and high torque of modern e-bikes. The basis is stiff rims made of patented Maxtal aluminium alloy with a height of 22 mm, which undergo ISM lightening milling. This reduces the rotating weight of the rim and improves acceleration and bike handling without losing strength. The Black Shield finish effectively protects the rim from scratches and impacts from flying stones.
The wheels are optimised for UST Tubeless Ready tubeless use. The wide central channel of the rim makes fitting and seating of even very stiff tyres with a reinforced e-bike casing easier. The PFP (Pinch Flat Protection) protective technology uses extended sidewall edges, which fundamentally limits the risk of pinch flats or cuts to the tyre on a hard impact with an obstacle. Fore technology with integrated aluminium nipples guarantees a solid rim bridge without the need to apply a tubeless tape.
The front and rear lacing consists of 28 steel, triple-crossed straight spokes with a special anti-rotation profile, which guarantees even tension and high stiffness when braking and under motor power. The aluminium hubs are fitted with QRM Auto industrial bearings with automatic play compensation. The rear hub uses the proven Instant Drive 360 freewheel mechanism with quick engagement. This model is intended for frames with the Boost standard, discs with 6 bolts, and is fitted with a SRAM XD freehub body.
