The rims are compatible with both conventional tyres with inner tubes and the UST Tubeless Ready system (when using a Mavic tubeless tape), which allows a switch to tubeless use for greater comfort and better puncture protection. The sturdy lacing consists of 32 bent steel spokes at the front and rear with a double-cross pattern, which give the wheels stability and stiffness both off-road and on asphalt.
