The MAX1 Xlight 30 lm intelligent rear flasher is suitable for night and especially daytime riding (smart light). The Xlight flasher is a multifunctional rear bike light that takes care of your safety in all conditions. The intelligent LED lamp ensures maximum visibility and safety on the road. Perfect workmanship, including IPX6 waterproofing and a scratch-resistant aluminium housing, gives the flasher a premium look with a long service life.

Smart light function: if you set the light to AUTO mode, you do not have to worry about anything (switching on/off). The light activates automatically at the slightest movement and switches off after 10 s (brilliantly simple).

Braking safety function - a function for safety when riding in a group and in regular traffic. When you brake, the light detects that you are braking and temporarily lights up the "X" symbol and raises the lighting intensity to maximum. This also works in AUTO mode.

Difference between Manual and Automatic mode

• In smart automatic mode the sensors detect that the bicycle has stopped, and if the stop is longer than 10 s, the light switches off. When you set off, the light switches itself on again. This saves the battery significantly. The automatic mode has an indicator at the rear of the light, so you can always tell whether the mode is on.

• In manual mode the light has to be switched off by hand.

• The brake light function and the flashing style setting work in both modes.

Excellent battery life

The flasher has a built-in Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 400 mAh. Thanks to this it can last up to 40 h on a single charge, depending on the selected mode. At the rear you will find a charge indicator that warns you when charging is needed. For charging there is a USB-C connector on the back of the light, which is waterproof. After a full charge the indicator lights up green.

Mounting on the bicycle

The pack contains two mounts, cable ties and O-rings. You can place the light either under the saddle on the saddle rails, or by using the second mount on the bikes seatpost. Thanks to the bevel the light shines straight. Another option is mounting it at the back of a helmet (depending on its construction), or also on a belt.

For charging, you can easily take the light off the mount.

Brake light function

The light contains a gyroscope that detects a braking manoeuvre and temporarily lights up at maximum until you finish braking. You will appreciate it when riding in traffic and also when riding in a group.

The brake light function can also be switched off, which achieves a greater lighting intensity - the light will shine / flash with both the edge and the central "X" symbol.

How to switch off the brake light:

1. Switch the light on in manual mode (not in AUTO mode).

2. Place the light with its rear surface facing down on a table and leave it lying without movement for at least 5 seconds.

3. Quickly press the button twice in a row with a "double press". This switches to AUTO mode, which at the same time deactivates the brake light function. The light will then shine or flash across its whole surface without the effect when braking.

4. The brake light function can be reactivated by holding the button for 6 seconds.
