Cross-device integration

Thanks to an exclusive protocol, the C706 smart GPS bike computer turns your action camera into a “smart viewfinder” for your ride and offers seamless control across devices.

Once paired, the remaining battery level and camera storage are shown right on the bike computer screen.

Once Smart Riding Assistant is set up, you can switch recording modes and start or stop recording with a single press of a button on the bike computer or on your Shimano Di2 electronic shift lever. Keep both hands safely on the handlebars, focus on the ride and never miss a moment.

Your smart riding assistant

You can control the L308 smart tail light directly from the bike computer, without needing to use your phone.

Achieve smart linking between devices by setting conditions for different riding situations.

For example, if your heart rate exceeds 180 beats per minute, the bike computer shows a “High heart rate” warning and at the same time triggers a vibration alert on the H803 wristband. When the L508 rear radar light detects a vehicle approaching from behind, the bike computer sounds an alert and shows the vehicle’s position on the screen. The system can also switch off the L508 light automatically once the ride is over.

Users of Shimano Di2 shifting can customise the D-fly buttons to set the X, Y and A buttons on the left/right shift lever, and then use the app to configure commands triggered by a short press, a long press and a double press – for example a double press of the left X button to activate the electronic bell of the C706 smart GPS bike computer or a long press of the left Z button to turn off the bike lights – these customisations let you control the bike computer and other devices.

Smart notifications

Once paired with your phone, you can receive phone call alerts and view details of messages, e-mails and notifications from apps such as WhatsApp. You can also switch all types of smart notifications on/off as needed.

Smart reminders

Customise reminders based on time or distance to stay hydrated, fuelled, or be told when it is time to head back.

Wide device compatibility

Through the wireless ANT+ and Bluetooth protocols it can connect to a wide range of sensors and show battery status and data.
