AskErgotec stem SWELL-RE 35,0 / 80mm / -20°-+40° / SL6 (black)
A robust yet lightweight adjustable stem for 35.0 mm handlebars made of 3D-forged AL 6061 T6 aluminium with a high SAFETY LEVEL 6. It is specially designed so that you can set the stem exactly as you wish. The maximum angle of 40° raises the upper body and relieves pressure on the lower back, ensuring a comfortable, upright riding position. The effective stem height in this setting is 40 mm. When set to a negative angle of -20° you can achieve a more aerodynamic position.
The robust adjustment mechanism with 4 bolts guarantees there will be no play or creaking, contributing to the stems long life. The serrations inside the adjustment mechanism provide a firm lock of the position and prevent loosening or rotation under high stress in demanding terrain.
Safety level 6 (SAFETY LEVEL) provides a high degree of resistance and load capacity of the stem – for MTB up to 140 kg (rider + bike + cargo weight) up to a maximum drop height of 60 cm. We recommend combining the stem with handlebars of the same safety level.
