The Mavic Crossmax S Carbon 29 rear built wheel is engineered for modern cross-country and light trail riding. The rim made of 100% UD carbon with an internal width of 30 mm provides stable support for wide modern tyres even at lower pressure. It uses the Adaptive Layup technology, which optimises the layering of carbon fibres in highly stressed areas, thus delivering excellent lateral stiffness for precise tracking and fast acceleration while keeping weight low.

The wheel is ready for UST Tubeless Ready tubeless use, which reduces the risk of punctures and improves traction. The Mavic Infinity hub uses QRM Auto industrial bearings with automatic play adjustment and is laced with 24 classic steel J-bend spokes, which significantly simplifies any servicing. Reliable and instant energy transfer is provided by the proven Instant Drive 360 ratchet freehub body, which features a long service life and easy maintenance without special tools.
