The Mavic COMETE 50 Disc full-carbon road built wheels are a top set designed for maximum speed and aerodynamic efficiency. Each pair is hand-assembled and tested at the Mavic development centre in Chavanod in the French Alps, which guarantees exceptional build quality and reliability in racing as well as training use.

The carbon rims with a 50 mm profile stand out with an excellent ratio between aerodynamic drag and crosswind stability. The internal width of 23 mm provides perfect support for wider modern tyres, which means lower rolling resistance, better grip and higher comfort. The rims are fully compatible with the UST Tubeless Ready tubeless system, which makes mounting easier and minimises the risk of punctures.

The lightweight aluminium hubs are complemented by top ceramic bearings ensuring minimal friction and a long service life. Power transfer is provided by the proven Instant Drive 360 ratchet system with 40 teeth, which brings instant engagement into the pedals. The lacing consists of full-carbon aero spokes Mavic Aero Carbon, 21 at the front and rear (a combination of 14 crossed and 7 radial spokes), which ensure high stiffness of the whole set while keeping a very low weight of 1315 g.
