Mavic built wheelset COMETE 55F/65R DISC CENTERLOCK SHIMANO/SRAM HG

Mavic built wheelset COMETE 55F/65R DISC CENTERLOCK SHIMANO/SRAM HG

The Mavic Comete aero road carbon built wheels for disc brakes combine different front and rear rim depths (55 mm at the front and 65 mm at the rear). This combination delivers excellent aerodynamic efficiency while keeping excellent stability in crosswinds. The full-carbon construction with an internal width of 25 mm is optimised for modern wider tyres from 30 mm wide and is fully ready for UST Tubeless Ready tubeless use, which improves comfort and reduces rolling resistance.

The hubs with an aluminium axle spin on top ceramic bearings guaranteeing minimal friction and a long service life. Power transfer is provided by the proven ratchet Instant Drive 360 freewheel mechanism with 40 teeth, which delivers lightning-fast response when pushing on the pedals. The lacing consists of 21 straight flat aero spokes tested in a wind tunnel, which are crossed on the loaded sides and radial on the opposite ones for even tension balance and maximum stiffness during braking and acceleration.
