The Mavic COMETE 65 DISC rear carbon road wheel is an aerodynamic solution designed for speed on flat and rolling road courses (ASTM 1 category). The full-carbon rim with a depth of 65 mm and an internal width of 25 mm is optimised for modern wider road tyres from 30 mm wide and, thanks to the UST Tubeless Ready design, allows easy tubeless use for lower rolling resistance and better puncture protection.

The wheel is fitted with 21 straight aero spokes with a wind-tunnel-tested profile to minimise rotational air drag. The lacing combines double crossing on the heavily loaded drive side with radial lacing on the opposite side, ensuring balanced spoke tension and high lateral stiffness during acceleration. The aluminium hub spins on premium ceramic bearings and relies on the proven ratchet Instant Drive 360 freewheel system with 40 teeth for instant engagement.
