Main advantages of the Schwalbe SCV (Clik Valve)

• Extremely easy and fast inflation ("by click"): The pump head simply clicks on the valve (with minimal force), with no screwing, levers or the need to loosen a nut as with a Presta valve. It can be operated with just two fingers.
• No pressure loss when disconnecting: When fitting and removing the pump, no air escapes from the tyre – air escapes only from the pump hose.
• Greater airflow: In tubeless systems it offers up to 50 % higher flow than a standard Presta valve (SV/Presta), which makes it easier to seat the tyre onto the rim.
• Greater durability and stability: The valve construction is sturdier and less prone to damage (e.g. bending), and it also eliminates wear of the seal on the pump head.
• Backward compatibility: In an emergency the valve can also be inflated with ordinary pumps for Presta valves (SV/Presta) with a push-on mechanism. For the full "click" function, however, a compatible SCV pump head/adapter is needed.
