The Mavic E-Deemax S 27.5 rear built wheel is designed and engineered with the high loads of modern e-bikes in mind. The rim made of Maxtal alloy undergoes ISM lightening milling and has a Black Shield surface treatment, which effectively protects the material against impacts from stones and scratches.

The patented rim profile with PFP (Pinch Flat Protection) technology features a wider seating surface on the upper edge of the sidewall, which fundamentally reduces the risk of pinch flats as well as damage to the rim itself. A wide centre channel makes it easier to mount even very stiff tyres. The integrated Fore nipple attachment system keeps the inner bridge of the rim continuous and eliminates the need for tubeless tape for a trouble-free UST Tubeless Ready system.

The durable lacing consists of 28 flat steel spokes with a straight head and anti-rotation protection. Torque transfer from the motor is ensured by the hub with the Instant Drive 360 ratchet freewheel mechanism and the sealed industrial QRM Auto bearings with self-adjusting play.
