How to Assemble a Mountain Bike
You have received a box containing your bicycle, approximately 130 x 75 x 20 cm in size.

Inside the box, you will find the packaged bicycle, the saddle, and a small box with accessories.

Remove all packaging materials from the bike (zip ties, foam pads, cardboard and plastic covers). Prepare the parts from the accessory box and unpack the saddle.

Install the handlebars using a 4, 5, or 6 mm Allen key. Unscrew the top cap from the fork steerer tube, place the stem with handlebars onto the steerer tube, and screw the top cap back on. Do not overtighten the top cap — it should be snug enough to remove any play in the headset, but the handlebars must still rotate freely.

Then tighten the two bolts on the side of the stem that secure it to the steerer tube using a 4, 5, or 6 mm Allen key. Aluminum stems must be tightened evenly and carefully. Refer to the Nm specification on the stem.

Insert the seat post with the mounted saddle into the frame and secure it with a quick-release lever or an Allen bolt (4, 5, or 6 mm).

If your bicycle has hydraulic disc brakes, remove the plastic spacer from the front brake caliper that prevents the pistons from moving. Be careful — do not squeeze the brake lever until the front wheel is installed!

Insert the quick-release skewer into the front wheel and screw on the end nut.

Place the front wheel into the fork dropouts from below, tighten the end nut of the quick-release skewer, and secure it by closing the lever. Adjust the nut so that the lever closes firmly but without excessive force. To ensure proper wheel seating, press down on the handlebars while closing the lever. If the disc rotor rubs against the pads after installation, adjust the brake caliper — not the wheel.

Install the pedals using a 15 mm wrench. Note: right pedal = right-hand thread, left pedal = left-hand thread — they cannot be interchanged. Tighten both pedals in the direction of pedaling.
Pedal Installation Guide
Before you begin, make sure you have the following:
- 15 mm wrench (or suitable Allen key if your pedals have internal hex fitting)
- Grease
- Right and left pedal (marked “R” and “L” on the axle)
Instructions:
-
Identify the right and left pedals:
- The right pedal is marked “R” (right) – install on the right side of the bike (chain side).
- The left pedal is marked “L” (left) – install on the left side.
- Note: the right pedal has a right-hand thread, and the left pedal has a left-hand thread.
-
Grease the pedal threads:
Apply a thin layer of grease to the threads of both pedals to prevent seizing and rust. -
Screw in the pedals by hand:
Start threading by hand — the pedal should engage smoothly:- Right pedal: tighten clockwise (in the riding direction).
- Left pedal: tighten counterclockwise (also in the riding direction).
-
Tighten with a wrench:
Use a 15 mm wrench and tighten both pedals firmly in the riding direction.
Note: Incorrect installation or cross-threading can cause irreversible damage to the crank arms.
Never use force when installing pedals. If the pedal does not thread in smoothly by hand, check the alignment of the thread.

Assembled mountain bike with disc brakes.

Important:
All other bolts are already tightened, and the brakes and gears are adjusted.
All you need to do is ride the first 1–100 km to allow everything to “settle in.” After that, we recommend checking the tightness of all bolts (handlebars, stem, cranks, brakes, etc.).
All bicycles are pre-adjusted and inspected before shipping to prevent unnecessary claims. However, every bike will need readjustment sooner or later — adjusted does not mean adjusted forever.
