The Mavic Crossmax rear built 29" wheel is a reliable model for modern cross-country. The basis is a durable welded rim made of light patented Maxtal aluminium alloy with an internal width of 25 mm, which provides stable support for XC tyres. The rim is in the Tubeless Ready design, which allows an easy switch to a tubeless system bringing better traction, higher comfort and a reduced risk of punctures.

At the heart of the rear lacing is the Infinity hub with a durable aluminium axle and the Instant Drive 360 ratchet freehub mechanism, which ensures instant pedal engagement and efficient power transfer. Smooth running and a long service life without the need for frequent adjustment are provided by QRM Auto industrial bearings with automatic play adjustment. The wheel is built for a Boost 12×148 mm standard thru axle and 6-bolt rotor mounting.
