The Mavic Crossmax 29 BOOST rear built wheel is designed for modern cross-country and sporty off-road riding. It combines the proven durability of Maxtal alloy with a welded rim joint and a modern hub construction, which brings reliable power transfer and high stiffness.

The rim with an internal width of 25 mm provides optimal support for current XC tyres and is fully ready for tubeless use (Tubeless Ready). It includes pre-installed tubeless tape and a UST tubeless valve, which eases the switch to a tubeless system for lower rolling resistance and better puncture protection.

The Infinity hub uses the proven Instant Drive 360 (ID360) freehub mechanism with a double ratchet for instant response when pedalling. Smooth running without the need for manual play adjustment is ensured by sealed industrial QRM Auto bearings with automatic adjustment. The wheel is fitted with a Shimano Micro Spline freehub body for twelve-speed cassettes and Center Lock rotor mounting.
