The Mavic Crossmax 27.5 rear built wheel follows the proven tradition of the Crossmax line and offers a reliable solution for modern cross-country (XC). The rim construction made of Maxtal aluminium alloy with a welded joint and an internal width of 25 mm provides excellent strength and low weight. The rim is fully ready for tubeless use (Clincher Tubeless Ready), bringing higher comfort, better traction and a reduced risk of punctures.

The hub with Infinity architecture and an aluminium axle ensures optimal lacing tension and high lateral stiffness. Smooth rotation without the need for manual play adjustment is provided by QRM Auto industrial bearings. Engagement is handled by the ratchet freehub system Instant Drive 360 (ID360), which stands out with fast response when pedalling and a long service life.
