The Mavic Crossmax 27.5 front built wheel follows the tradition of the proven Crossmax line and brings a balanced combination of stiffness, reliability and durability for modern cross-country riding. The basis is a welded rim made of a light Maxtal aluminium alloy with an internal width of 25 mm, which offers tubeless compatibility (Tubeless Ready). The tubeless system brings higher comfort, better traction on the trail and significantly reduces the risk of punctures.
The wheel uses an Infinity aluminium front hub designed for a Boost 15×110 mm thru axle. Smooth running is ensured by QRM Auto industrial bearings with automatic play adjustment, which work reliably without the need for manual adjustment. The strong lacing consists of 24 double-butted steel straight-pull spokes (straight pull design without a bend at the head) with a flat profile, crossed twice and seated in steel nipples with ABS technology preventing self-loosening.
Rotor mounting is solved by the Center Lock standard. The delivery already includes pre-installed tubeless tape, a UST tubeless valve with accessories and two spare spokes.
