The flagship CX403 road shoe model represents the pinnacle of road cycling. The unique Monocoque carbon construction allows you to individually mould the shoe to your own foot shape, so that unwanted movement of the foot in the shoe is avoided and power transfer to the pedal is maximised. The extreme stiffness of the carbon skeleton ensures that every watt you put out is transferred into the individual pedal stroke, with no undesirable losses caused by insufficiently stiff footwear. Thanks to the moulding, the shoes remain highly comfortable despite their extreme stiffness, and you can spend long hours in the saddle in them.

The upper material of the shoe is premium K-Lite kangaroo leather, which is used for its properties in top models across sports footwear. In the closure area, the kangaroo leather is combined with Carbitex carbon fibres, which thanks to their stiffness are a great fit for places with higher tension and at the same time match the carbon design of the shoes and complete the original premium look.

The shoes are fitted with a pair of BOA Li2 closure systems with two-way adjustment, with which the tightness of the shoes can be chosen optimally.

Upper

Top-quality K-Lite kangaroo leather combined with Carbitex carbon fibre fabric. Kangaroo leather stands out for its durability and ability to adapt superbly to the shape of the foot over time, which further improves the ability of the individually moulded skeleton to merge with the foot and seat it in one position. Carbitex helps stabilise the foot and increases stiffness in places with higher tension.

A kangaroo leather lining, which is naturally breathable and antimicrobial, was also used for the inside of the shoe, so even after long hours you will feel comfortable in the shoes and your feet will stay sufficiently ventilated.

Sole

The unique Monocoque construction made from a single piece of carbon has extreme stiffness and the option of individual moulding to the shape of the foot. The result is maximum rider comfort and the best possible power transfer from the rider to the pedal. Version for mounting cleats with 3 holes. The toe of the shoe is protected by a rubber part against unwanted scuffing.

This top road model uses the LAKE patented dual carbon sole. The inner part is made of partially flexible carbon, which creates greater comfort and prevents pressure points on the foot in critical areas. A rigid, durable carbon is used for the outer part of the sole, ensuring stiffness and maximum power transfer without sacrificing riding comfort.

Fastening

Two BOA closure systems with two-way Li2 BOA® tension adjustment. The two-way closure system lets you achieve optimal tightness. Thanks to its lower profile, the new shape minimises the ingress of dirt and reduces the risk of damage.

• Women: whole sizes - 36-43, half sizes - 37.5-42.5

Aftercare and maintenance of the shoes during use:

• The basis of footwear care is good-quality waterproofing, even before the first wear.
• The main function of waterproofing is to prevent moisture from penetrating the footwear. This not only protects the upper of the shoes from damage, but above all ensures flexibility and a long service life.
• Use a standard waterproofing product intended for genuine leather footwear.
• Apply the waterproofing to clean, well-dried footwear.
• If necessary, a brush can be used to mechanically remove dirt.
