The Mavic E-Crosstrail SL 27.5 built wheels are designed specifically for demanding trail riding on e-bikes, where they must withstand high torque and increased load without compromising handling and weight.

High rim durability and puncture protection

The set is based on rims made of a lightweight and strong Maxtal aluminium alloy with an internal width of 30 mm and a profile height of 22 mm. FORE drill-free technology integrates the nipples directly into the inner bridge of the rim, so the upper wall remains intact. This makes the construction stronger, and no sealing tape needs to be installed for UST Tubeless Ready tubeless tyres. The patented PFP (Pinch Flat Protection) technology reinforces the rim edges and significantly reduces the risk of pinch flats on impacts with sharp obstacles.

Reinforced Infinity hubs and instant engagement

Mavic Infinity hubs are structurally reinforced for the specific stresses on e-bikes and ensure highly efficient power transfer. The reliable Instant Drive 360 freewheel mechanism guarantees a quick response when pedalling. Quality QRM Auto industrial bearings with automatic play compensation ensure smooth running without the need for frequent servicing. The strength and stiffness of the whole set are completed by 28 flat steel spokes at the front and rear with a triple-cross pattern.
