The HCW-5 is a double-sided wrench designed for the lockrings used on cup-and-cone bottom brackets (hardened bearings).

• One side of the wrench has a single hook
• The other side has 3 notches for a better hold and a firmer grip on lockrings
• The wrench is hardened and nickel-plated for a long life and resistance to wear

HCW-5 features

• The universal single-hook end fits most lockrings with notches with an outer diameter of 43 to 46 mm
• The three-hook end is designed for lockrings with three notches, with a maximum outer diameter of 46 mm and a minimum diameter in the notches of 40 mm

NOTE: The HCW-5 is designed for bottom bracket lockrings. For lockrings on fixed-gear wheels, use the HCW-17.
