The REPENTE Prime 3.0 saddle in the 132 mm version. The shape modelled on anatomical and ergonomic studies provides the necessary support at strategic points for comfortable and efficient pedalling. Every single detail of the Prime 3.0 saddle has been designed to raise the level of your performance.

The shape of the rear of the saddle was designed to provide a uniform contact surface. Research and development focused on preventing any restriction of free hip joint movement while pedalling.

The padding thickness is raised over the entire saddle surface. To ensure comfortable sitting both on shorter off-road rides and over long distances, EVA material was used for the lining, very suitable for its lightness and top-class shock absorption.

The rails made of unidirectional T700 carbon fibres are connected to the saddles supporting structure made of PA12 polyurethane reinforced with LCF technology: instead of ordinary carbon fibres, longer carbon fibres are added to the resin, which, thanks to a special injection process, are arranged to increase the strength of the structure. As tests have shown, this technology minimises the risk of shell deformation.

The Prime 3.0 saddle also uses Repentes original RLS replaceable padding technology.

MSR (Multi-Section Carbon Rail) - combined carbon rail structure

In REPENTE saddles the rails do not serve merely a supporting function. By achieving the right combination of carbon stiffness and flexibility along the full length of the rails, this part of the saddle can be used as a damping element. The flattened rear ends provide stiffness in the most stressed part of the saddle, while the front ends merging into a single structural element have a positive effect on the flexibility of the whole. The pressure exerted on the saddle in different phases of riding thus always brings an optimal response.

LCF (Long Carbon Fiber) - long carbon fibres

So that the saddle does not lose its stiffness and shape over time, the REPENTE saddle research and development department developed LCF technology. Instead of ordinary carbon fibres, longer carbon fibres are added to the resin, which, thanks to a special injection process, are arranged to match the longitudinal flow of the material, which increases the strength of the entire structure. As tests have shown, this technology minimises the risk of deformation or collapse of the carbon shell.

RLS (Repente Locking System) - system for attaching the replaceable padding

Thanks to the patented RLS locking system, approved after demanding tests both in the laboratory and in the field, you can choose a base / padding combination that will help you get maximum comfort and power from every pedal stroke. The right saddle shape helps keep your riding position unchanged, which eliminates the risk of joint and muscle injuries.
