The REPENTE Latus M saddle is a top compact saddle for road and mountain cycling, comfortable and light, intended for men and women. The Latus M is a saddle for cyclists who prefer a saddle width of 142 mm.

Wide, but not too wide. Light and amazingly comfortable! The Latus M is a full-carbon saddle for cyclists who prefer a slightly wider cut than traditional saddles, while the saddle width stays at the most common dimension of 142 mm. The materials used and the design concept are based on the Latus CL model. It retains the autoclave processing of unidirectional carbon fibres and a wide longitudinal anatomical channel with EVA lining shaped to provide sufficient support and comfort.

It is a saddle suitable for both road riders and off-road enthusiasts. Its compact size and nose shape increase freedom of movement when pedalling.

ARE (Autoclave Resistance Enhancement) - advanced processing of carbon fibres, “autoclaving”

The bases of REPENTE full-carbon saddles made of T700 carbon fibres use the modern method of autoclaving instead of classic moulding. This modern manufacturing process uses high heat and pressure to significantly increase the stiffness and stability of the resulting carbon skeleton. Autoclave processing also eliminates the problem of micro-gaps in the fibres, which makes it possible to achieve a high-quality, light and strong product. The ARE technology thus allows us to give our saddles the highest degree of strength and stability.

MSR (Multi-Section Carbon Rail) - combined carbon rail structure

In REPENTE saddles the rails do not serve merely a supporting function. By achieving the right combination of carbon stiffness and flexibility along the full length of the rails, this part of the saddle can be used as a damping element. The flattened rear ends provide stiffness in the most stressed part of the saddle, while the front ends merging into a single structural element have a positive effect on the flexibility of the whole. The pressure exerted on the saddle in different phases of riding thus always brings an optimal response.
