The Mavic Crossmax S Carbon 29 front built wheel is designed for modern cross-country and light trail riding. The rim construction made of 100% UD carbon uses Adaptive Layup technology, which strategically optimises the layering of the carbon fibres. The result is high stiffness for precise tracking and fast acceleration while keeping a very low weight.

The carbon rim with an internal width of 30 mm provides firm support for wider tyres at lower pressure, which brings higher traction off-road. The UST Tubeless Ready system allows easy tubeless use with a lower risk of punctures.

The Infinity front hub uses the Boost 15×110 mm thru axle standard, an aluminium axle and sealed industrial QRM Auto bearings with automatic play adjustment. The lacing consists of 24 double-crossed steel spokes with a bent head (J-bend) complemented by steel ABS nipples, which ensures high reliability and easy availability of spare parts when servicing.
