The 29" carbon Mavic Crossmax S Carbon built wheels are designed for modern cross-country and light trail. The rims made of 100% UD carbon use Adaptive Layup technology, which optimises the layup of the carbon fibres to achieve high stiffness and durability while keeping the weight very low. An internal rim width of 30 mm gives wider tyres stable support, which improves grip and confidence in technical terrain.

The wheels are laced on Infinity hubs with 24 steel spokes with a bent head (J-bend). This proven solution ensures reliability, easy servicing and availability of spare parts. Reliable power transfer and quick engagement are guaranteed by the Instant Drive 360 (ID360) ratchet freehub system together with the automatically adjusted QRM Auto industrial bearings. Mavic provides a lifetime warranty on the carbon rims after registration.
