The Mavic Crossmax Ultimate set of 29" built wheels delivers top-level specifications for demanding cross-country and marathon racing. Thanks to its full-carbon construction, the set achieves an exceptionally low weight of 1080 g, which ensures instant acceleration and easy handling off-road.

Rims made of 100% carbon fibre have an internal width of 30 mm and a depth of 25 mm. The wider profile provides excellent support for modern 47 to 71 mm wide tyres, allows riding at lower pressure and improves traction and cornering stability. The UST Tubeless Ready design is ready directly for tubeless use with reliable sealing.

The hubs spin on premium Mavic Ceramic bearings, which minimise rolling resistance and extend service life. Power transfer is handled by the SRAM XD freehub body with the Instant Drive 360 Light toothed mechanism (40 teeth), which offers a very quick response to pedal input. The wheels are designed for the Boost standard with a 15×110 mm fixed axle at the front and 12×148 mm at the rear. Brake discs are mounted using the 6-bolt standard.

Both the front and rear wheel builds consist of 20 straight round spokes (straight pull) laced in a double-cross pattern, complemented by lightweight and durable titanium nipples.
