The Mavic Comete 50 Disc racing road built wheels offer high aerodynamic efficiency and stiffness for disc brakes. The full-carbon rims with a profile depth of 50 mm and an internal width of 23 mm provide great aerodynamics and stability at higher speeds and in crosswinds. The UST Tubeless Ready construction allows the use of tubeless tyres, which reduces rolling resistance and improves puncture resistance.

The aluminium hubs are fitted with ceramic bearings with minimal friction and a durable aluminium thru axle. Reliable and fast engagement is provided by the Instant Drive 360 freewheel mechanism with a ratchet system of 40 teeth. The lacing consists of lightweight aerodynamic carbon spokes Mavic Aero Carbon with aluminium nipples in a lacing of 21 spokes at the front and rear (a combination of 14 crossed and 7 radial spokes).
