Mavic front wheel COMETE 65 DISC CENTERLOCK

The Mavic Comete 65 Disc aerodynamic front built wheel is designed for purely road use (ASTM category 1) and fast riding on flat and rolling routes. The all-carbon rim with a profile height of 65 mm effectively minimises air resistance, while the modern internal width of 25 mm provides perfect support for wider tyres (the minimum recommended width is 30 mm) for lower rolling resistance and higher ride comfort.

The rim construction supports the UST Tubeless Ready tubeless system, which makes fitting and tubeless use easier with a lower risk of punctures. The front hub is fitted with smoothly spinning ceramic bearings, an aluminium thru axle measuring 12×100 mm and reliable Center Lock rotor mounting.

The lacing consists of 21 straight aero spokes tested in a wind tunnel for the lowest possible rotational drag. For optimal tension distribution and high stiffness when braking, the spokes on the rotor side are crossed twice, while a radial lacing is used on the opposite side.
