A top downhill MTB tyre, the MICHELIN DH Mud Racing Line, specially developed for racing downhill and riding in extremely demanding, muddy conditions. Thanks to its aggressive mud tread, the highly grippy MAGI-X rubber compound and durable construction, it offers outstanding traction, stability and control on wet and slippery tracks.

The DH Mud model is intended mainly for downhill (DH), racing descents and technically demanding tracks, where reliable grip in deep mud, on soft ground and on wet forest trails is decisive.

The special mud tread with tall, widely spaced knobs bites effectively into soft ground. The open arrangement of the blocks supports self-cleaning of the tyre and limits the build-up of mud between the individual knobs. The tyre thus helps maintain traction when braking, cornering and on steep descents.

The MICHELIN MAGI-X rubber compound used focuses on maximum grip and control in demanding racing conditions. It gives confidence on wet roots, rocks and slippery surfaces, where good tyre contact with the terrain is essential.

The Racing Line product line is a performance-oriented version intended for demanding riders and racing use. The tyres construction is adapted to the high loads and impacts typical of downhill tracks.

The folding Kevlar bead makes handling, transport and storage of the tyre easier. The Tubeless Ready (TLR) version allows tubeless installation with a compatible rim, valve and sealant.

Tubeless operation helps reduce the risk of some punctures and makes it possible to adjust the tyre pressure to the character of the track. A correctly chosen pressure can improve grip, stability and control of the bike in technical sections.

The size 27.5 × 2.30" offers a good combination of handling, precise steering and the treads ability to penetrate soft ground. The tyre is especially suited to wet race tracks, where ordinary universal treads cannot offer enough bite.
