First experiences often shape our relationship with a sport for many years. A first kids bike should above all be easy to handle and comfortable so that kids enjoy riding and feel safe. The stylish 16 Author Orbit kids bike offers an easy and quick way of braking thanks to the coaster brake in the rear hub – just pedal backwards. At the same time, we see it as essential to try out and get a feel for brake levers. Comfort, not only for the child, comes from a saddle with an ergonomically shaped handle for parents during the balance-learning phase, so that support during the first rides is comfortable. A chain guard as a basic safety feature is a matter of course, as is the choice of two colour combinations.
