The NORCO Optic C2 is an uncompromising trail machine with the new High Pivot Horst Link suspension system.
The NORCO Optic is a loaded trail bike that maximises your confidence on the terrain, even on jumps. The Optic now comes with the new High Pivot Horst Link suspension system. In general, High Pivot works so that the path traced by the rear wheel when it hits an obstacle and goes into travel is angled backwards. As a result, the bike “irons out” the terrain far better and maintains a significantly higher speed on rough sections. Thanks to the idler pulley, pedal kickback is also eliminated here. Since 2024, the models have used the High Pivot Horst Link system with a non-concentric idler pulley that is not on the axis of the main pivot. Each bike model has a specifically designed idler pulley according to how active the suspension is when pedalling.
The C2 model combines aggressive riding characteristics with a lightweight carbon frame. It gives you excellent control and agility on descents, while the custom-tuned Rockshox suspension components are optimised for maximum performance on technical sections. Its equipment consists of quality Sram shifting and reliable brakes. Expect speed that will get your blood pumping and push you to new descents.
