With this womens model, the designers aimed to offer female riders an affordable bike with 1×12 gearing. The Author Kinetic ASL is built on an aluminium frame with internal routing. A benefit for smaller riders is the 14" frame size with 27.5" wheels. The RST BLAZE fork is finished in the bikes design, adding to its premium look. Gear changes are handled by the reliable, durable Shimano Deore groupset in a 1×12-speed version. Braking is provided by proven Tektro TR160 hydraulic disc brakes. The wheels are built with Authors own Xenon rims and AUTHOR Speed Master tyres with low rolling resistance. The rest of the build consists of Authors own components. Of course, the frame and fork have mounting points for a kickstand, mudguards and a rack. A well-built bike with functional, durable components at a reasonable price – thats the Author Kinetic ASL, which doesnt hide its sporty spirit.
