Fully loaded bikepacking, fast and light off-road adventures, gravel and CX racing... or just exploring your favourite roads and trails. The Marin Headlands is a highly engineered carbon gravel/adventure bike, designed to be extremely fast, confident and maximally comfortable on any surface.
We use a proprietary unidirectional carbon frame, complemented by mountain bike-inspired geometry, large tyre clearance and plenty of mounting points for bags and fenders. The result is an extremely versatile and capable bike ready for any terrain. It is compatible with tyres up to 45 mm on 700c wheels or up to 47 mm on 650b wheels.
The Marin Headlands 1 brings plenty of fun, performance and adventure, but at a more affordable price than the top-end Headlands 2. The Shimano GRX gravel groupset, GRX hydraulic disc brakes, Vee Tire Co tyres and Marin components together make a package that will keep you happy on every ride – whatever the terrain.

Technology
UNIDIRECTIONAL CARBON FIBER FRAME
The Headlands has a unidirectional carbon fiber frame designed to meet the demands of modern gravel and endurance riders and racers with large tire clearance, a 142x12mm thru-axle, and multiple frame eyelets for customized hydration and frame bag needs.
TIRE CLEARANCE
The Headlands was designed with clearance for up to 700Cx45 or 650Bx50 tires to handle even the roughest “roads.”
INTERNAL DROPPER COMPATIBILITY
The Headlands features a seattube port for internal dropper routing, with the Headlands 2 coming stock with a 105mm/85mm dropper post.
REMOVABLE SEATSTAY BRACE
The removable seat stay brace makes it super easy to add fenders for foul weather riding and commuting, while maintaining a clean smooth look when you don’t need the coverage.
