Ghost Kato Universal 27.5 2026 (Amazon Glossy)
The KATO model offers a proven frame in modern colours and sizes that adapt to all riders. The frame geometry keeps a comfortable riding position while not taking away the agility the bike needs.
The GHOST KATO range represents versatile, reliable and capable hardtails for various rider levels — from beginners to more experienced cyclists looking for a simple and lightweight solution for trail, XC or everyday use. The 2026 collection includes 5 levels of specification, each always in two colour variants:
KATO PRO – top model: an ideal specification offering a perfect price/performance ratio. The 1x12 speed drivetrain is handled by a complete Shimano Deore groupset. Shimano Deore brakes and a RockShox Judy air fork add safety and comfort
KATO UNIVERSAL - a model with generally more advanced equipment, with 2x9 speeds and a Shimano CUES drivetrain. A lighter RockShox Judy air fork with precise and sensitive action.
KATO ESSENTIAL - 3x8 drivetrain with a Shimano Acera derailleur, Tektro brakes and an SR Suntour spring fork with 100 mm of travel
KATO - basic specification with a 3x7 Shimano Tourney drivetrain, Tektro brakes and an SR Suntour spring fork with 100 mm of travel
KATO EQ – City version equipped with mudguards, a rack and dynamo-powered lights. SHIMANO Tourney drivetrain with 3x7 speeds – ideal for affordable city commuting.
Every model is designed with long component life and maximum rider control over the bike in mind. The collection also includes versions on 27.5” wheels for smaller riders for whom 29” wheels are not suitable. Thanks to the well-thought-out geometry, modern components and design, KATO bikes easily adapt to the riders riding style and requirements.
