The ASTR RS is a performance-oriented gravel bike developed for modern gravel racing. This is evident from its groundbreaking tyre clearance of 52 mm – a top-class step in the category that anticipates the growing trend towards wider tyres. Gravel races are getting ever rougher while riders ride faster than ever before, which places new demands on the bike.
The Astr RS also features aerodynamically optimised tube shapes and a fork with an integrated diffuser, based on our research into the aerodynamics-to-weight ratio on the Falcn RS. It also has confidence-inspiring geometry designed with stability at high speed in mind: a longer wheelbase, a slacker head tube angle and a lower bottom bracket.
Racers need to save more energy during a race. Thanks to optimised aerodynamics, greater comfort, lower rolling resistance of wider tyres and better climbing performance thanks to low weight, the Astr RS ensures that riders reach the finish with more energy left in the tank than their competitors.
