The E-ASTR is the electric version of the ASTR RS, which is the benchmark of performance in the gravel category. It is built on the same frame and geometry, which gives it the same response and ride feel – with a gentle boost of power thanks to the compact and quiet TQ HPR40 motor.

With a tyre clearance of up to 52 mm and geometry optimised for control, agility and speed, the E-ASTR stays true to its racing roots. The assistance, which feels completely natural, smoothly cuts out above 25 km/h and provides just the right support when needed. A fully integrated battery with a capacity of 290 Wh and an optional 160 Wh range extender offer sufficient range without compromising weight or looks.

The E-ASTR guarantees a sporty, natural ride – with a little extra, without compromising compliance or control.

Detailed description

The E-ASTR is an e-bike for riders who are looking for a pure riding experience with the added benefit of electric assistance that makes riding more enjoyable.

The lightweight TQ system was chosen for this e-bike, and the look of the bike was kept as close as possible to the non-assisted ASTR RS version. The controls and display were even hidden so that the e-system is as unobtrusive as possible.

In addition to the low weight of the system, the TQ drive unit is also very quiet, and the level of assistance it provides is the least intrusive that could be experienced with any drive.
