With the E-Grifn you will ride further, longer and higher than ever before. We chose the Mahle X20 drive system for its maximally natural ride feel.

The defining feature of this e-bike is the choice of the Mahle X20 drive. It is a compact and proven system that makes the impossible possible. The assistance is proportional to the force you put into the pedals, achieved by a torque sensor in the bottom bracket communicating with software. You will feel as if you are riding with a pleasant tailwind, making every ride feel like a sporting achievement.

Natural ride feel and smart functions

The advantage of the X20 motor is that above a speed of 25 km/h it runs with practically no additional mechanical resistance. The systems power delivery also gradually fades out, which ensures a very smooth riding experience and contributes to a natural feel on the bike. You can control the motor and customise it using the Mahle app on your smartphone. The system even adapts itself to your riding style.

With the Mahle X20 you have three levels of assistance available, which were fine-tuned specifically for the Grifn model by our product managers in cooperation with Mahle. This custom mapping is a typical example of our pursuit of perfection.

Geometry and integration

The geometry of the E-Grifn is identical to the Grifn RS, including a removable front derailleur clamp, room for tyres up to 42 millimetres wide and a UDH dropout. The battery is neatly integrated into the frame, which preserves the sporty look of the E-Grifn.
