Ridley FALCN Ultegra Di2 (UD Carbon/Candy Red Metallic/Silver)
The Falcn Essential builds on the success of the Falcn RS. The performance geometry and tyre clearance for tyres 34 millimetres wide remain the same, as do the fork with diffuser and the universal derailleur hanger (UDH).
The geometry was carefully designed with a focus on speed, stability and responsiveness. The head tube length is shorter than on the Noah Fast and Helium SLX models, which ensures a more aggressive riding position. The bottom bracket is positioned lower because it was adapted for riding on wider tyres, so the rider still keeps excellent control.
The differences compared with the higher-end Falcn RS are the round seatpost on the Falcn Essential (as opposed to the aero D-shape seatpost on the Falcn RS) and the carbon layup. Even so, the Falcn Essential frame weighs only 990 grams.
