Ridley FALCN Ultegra Di2 (Pearl White/Silver/Black)
The Falcn Essential builds on the success of the top Falcn RS version. The performance geometry and tyre clearance of up to 34 mm are identical, and the fork crown with diffuser and the universal derailleur hanger (UDH) have been retained.
This geometry was carefully designed by Ridleys developers with a focus on speed, stability and handling. The head tube is shorter than on the Noah Fast and Helium SLX models, which gives the rider a more aggressive position. The bottom bracket is positioned lower because it was adapted for riding on wider tyres – thanks to the lower centre of gravity the rider keeps excellent control of the bike.
The main differences are the use of a classic round seatpost on the Falcn Essential (as opposed to the D-shaped seatpost on the Falcn RS) and a different carbon layup. Even so, the Falcn Essential frame weighs only 990 grams.
