F 1900 Classic - Extremely resistant, not just in case.
Facing a freshly-built jump or daring the biggest drop in the bike park
can be nerve-racking. In any case, the thrill after hitting it can be as intense as the impact when things go wrong. Especially if you are the guinea pig, the tension, but also the uncertainty of making the jump is even greater.
The F 1900 CLASSIC is made to withstand a lot, and not just in case of casing. With a new rim based on the latest generation of our downhill rims, coupled with our tried-and-true ratchet hub, the wheel aims to take the beating of numerous bike park laps.

• ICONS: Ratchet technology
Each Ratchet System has its special characteristics, but they all provide the iconic reliability. This is a result of the simultaneous engagement of the teeth, creating far fewer point loads.

  Pro Lock technology
DT Pro Lock is a process where a dual compound, adhesive liquid is injected into the nipple thread, allowing for extremely durable wheel builds. By threading the nipple onto the spoke the adhesive is activated and starts to harden. Re-truing the wheel is still possible after the adhesive has hardened completely, with only a minimal decrease of its thread-lock function.

  Bearing technology
DT Swiss hubs are designed to function optimally once installed in a bicycle. To achieve this, the clamping force created by the wheel mounting system must be taken into account when constructing a hub.

  Tubeless technology

  Engagement Angle technology

  Hand-Built
  Proven hand-built construction
Every DT Swiss wheel is built by hand. The concept of manual construction alone is no guarantee for the construction of a stable, durable wheel. Building a high-quality wheelset requires knowledge and, above all, experience.
