The more affordable version of the sport-touring-expedition Author Ronin is built on a 3× butted chromoly frame with a fork of the same material. Amid todays flood of fat carbon and aluminium tubes, its slim frame lines look as if from another world. For many people it offers an escape from the mainstream and an expression of a different lifestyle. This trend also has rational advantages and benefits for the rider in the form of greater comfort and the easier repairability of steel. That comes in handy especially on long expeditions far from civilisation, where this machine is at home. Fitted with all possible racks and bags, it can be the perfect companion even on a trip around the world. Of course that isnt its only forte – it works just as well as an everyday bike, for roaming forest and field tracks, commuting to work or as an all-weather "winter bike". The Shimano GRX groupset with hydraulic disc brakes guarantees trouble-free operation in all conditions.
