The XP 6.1 brings a completely new generation of aluminium frames based on our top-class carbon models. The frame has modern geometry, internal cable routing, a UDH dropout and a Boost axle – all for maximum stiffness, durability and a clean look. Thanks to optimised construction, 250 grams were saved, which improved agility and handling off-road. Comfort and precision are provided by a RockShox suspension fork with 120 mm of travel, and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes give confidence in every situation. The Shimano Deore drivetrain with 12 speeds offers a wide gear range for fast descents and steep climbs. Thanks to sizes XS to XXL, every rider looking for a light, fast and reliable bike for every trail will enjoy the XP 6.1.

The XP range is for riders who want a hardtail with sharp handling, racing DNA and an excellent performance/price ratio. The new generation takes over key elements from our carbon XP range – including an identical frame design, modified geometry, fully internal cable routing, a UDH hanger and Boost rear spacing.

New improved frame

Frame optimisation saved 250 grams, which shows off-road as greater agility and better handling. Comfort and precision are provided by suspension with 120 mm of travel, combined with powerful brakes and 12-speed Shimano Deore, SLX or XT drivetrains (depending on the model).

New geometry

The geometry is inspired by modern XC racing – the bike is lower and more stable. The result is more confident handling on descents and more efficient power transfer on climbs. The aluminium XP models take over the sharp lines and sporty silhouette of our top-class carbon bikes. As a result, even the more affordable models have an elegant look and sporty character.

UDH hanger – universal compatibility

The frame is equipped with a SRAM UDH (Universal Derailleur Hanger) derailleur hanger, which ensures full compatibility with current and future drivetrain standards. It is easily replaceable, commonly available and designed to protect the derailleur in the event of an impact.

Internal housing routing

The cables are routed inside the frame, which ensures an aesthetically clean design.
